Hello. I’m Norman Brennan, an independent candidate for the role of Dorset Police & Crime Commissioner in the elections due to take place on Thursday 6th May, 2021.
I am a retired police officer and active campaigner.
I am committed to zero tolerance policing.
I am passionate about supporting victims of crime and ensuring we have more police on the streets.
Why Choose Me?
First of all, I am an Independent candidate, free of political allegiance from any party.
I’ve been there and done it. I have been both a Police officer and a victim of crime, having been physically assaulted and stabbed on separate occasions. The real life experiences I have gives me a unique insight in order to get the best out of policing for you, residents and businesses.
42 years police experience
29 years speaking up for law and order
16 years campaigning for police and victims
Determined to continue work towards a safer society for all. From the youngest to the oldest members of society, from rural settings to the conurbation, we need to tackle the different threats that are used to target them.
I have a strong ability to speak out and just as importantly, to listen. As an Independent candidate, I am here to serve 100% of the Dorset population, across the rural and conurbation areas, and not tied to any political party’s agenda.
No one should live or work in fear.
